If your an A+ student (which none of the stilts are) and your teacher gives you a bad grade because you missed a deadline what do you do? You sue. Judge Duke Bloom, in Charleston West Virginia threw out the suit saying unless the teacher made a miscalculation on the student's grade, no one has the authority to change it. "It is not a proper role for a court to assess whether a particular penatly impossed for turning in schoolwork late is too harsh," Bloom wrote. The student was a day late turning in her paper and her mark went from an[glow=red,2,300] A+[/glow] to a[glow=red,2,300] B [/glow] as a result

Almost a record. A couple from Lubec, Maine has been married for 80years. Waldo Tarbell is 101 and his wife Kathleen is 100. They were married in 1927 and just recently moved into a nursing home. They are not in the Guinness Book of World records. A couple from Rhode Island have been married for 83 years.
this story is taken from the coffe news so you might have already read it. i just thougt it was amazing that they aren't the record despite 80 years of marriage.

Taken from oct 12 issue of the coffee news
Jeff Downs was angry that he was robbed, but he did appreciate the courtesy the robber showed towards him. Downs, who owns a general store in West Danville Vermont was a victim of a robbery, but the thief apologized before he robbed him. "He told me was sorry to have to do this," said Downs. Thats when Downs asked the robber if he'd be kind enough to leave behind the $1 bills so the clerk would have something to work with on the morning shift. The polite robber agreed to the request. Vermont State Policeman, Lt. Timothy Clouatre says they're still looking for the thief.
I drive through danville on my way home, so I thought this was interesting. In an unrelated note isn't the economy supposed to be picking up againg so people don't have to resort to this. oh,well, at least the guy was polite when he robbed him
